Important November Dates - 11/4/08

Important Illahee Dates. November is a really busy month for Illahee residents and we thought it would be helpful to list all these dates early in the month so people can mark their calendars. Let us know if you have any questions on these meetings, or if we missed any. Jim Aho

November 4. Meeting with Public Works to discuss the Central Kitsap Wastewater GMA Compliance Plan.

November 7-9. Final days to finish Citizens Advisory Group (CAG) list for the Illahee Communilty Plan.

November 13. Port of Illahee monthly meeting at 5 pm at Fire Station on Old Military Road.

November 15. Illahee Community website advisory group meeting at 5940 Illahee Road at 10 am.

November 16. Illahee Community Club quarterly meeting, Sylvan Way library at 1:30 pm. Officers for 2009 will be elected. The settlement option to the outfall at the Illahee dock will be presented, along with other Illahee issues.

November 17. Timbers Edge sewer hearing at County Administration Building at 9:30 am. Note that the Illahee Community Club has requested a new notice and hearing because of the first one being untimely and did not notify all those affected by the proposed mile long sewer line running through Illahee.

November 17. Date discovery requests need to be served with regards to the Illahee Community Club's Appeal to the Shorelines Hearings Board regarding the proposed outfall at the Illahee dock. Note that the deadlines were extended to accommodate settlement discussions that are ongoing and will be presented at the ICC meeting on 11/16/08.

November 18. Illahee Forest Preserve meeting, lower level of Parks Department Office, at 6:30 pm.

November 19. Work Study briefing of Illahee Community Plan for County Commissioners, Port Blakely Room, 9 am, no public input.

November 24. Public Hearing for the Illahee Community Plan, County Administration Building, 7 pm. Illahee residents are strongly encouraged to be in attendance. The Commissioners will decide whether to approve the Plan based on the input at this Public Hearing. Three minutes is allotted for each person to speak. A speech is not needed, only a statement that you support or approve of the Community Plan.
